With the special day of attending Vivienne Westwood’s Fashion Show for the first time, I’ve put on my favourite pair of Westwood stockings and matching it contrastingly with this dress from Blind by JW’s SS14 Collection. Besides tartan and reconstructed structures, my impression to the pioneer of punk fashion is also about using loads of tulle to emphasise the kind of English-Westwood girl that Vivienne wanted to pursue — heavy volume headpiece, layers and layers of tulle under skirts and dresses — such signature style gets obvious towards the end of the collection, and I’m echoing it by wearing this millinery that my designer friend Maria from TwistedSisters made. Never too elegant, never too street, this outfit is purposely worn with leather gloves, with bit of punk and rock elements revealed within accessories details.
