My impression of Stuart Weitzman being always classy nude and black has been wiped off by its 2013 Summer Collecion.
This summer, its about being sexy with gladiator sandals, edgy with shiny metallics, ultra-modern with clear materials,
and also not to forget, cheerful with vibrant colours.
No matter its in the form of boots, wedges, or sandals, as long as it’s in the statement-al gladiator style,
it’ll be one of the must-have shoes of the season. In Stuart Weitzman’s interpretation, the Grecian-inspired staples
got a modern twist with the use of gold and black, and stud details that creates a elongated leg-defining silhouette.
Besides long sandals, the collection also comes in a more subtle sandle and open toe style.
Speaking of summer, Stuart Weitzman has also played with textures, canvas are very often one of the big summer hits.
But instead of canvas, lets focus on this especially intricately-woven twine,
the pastel hues have feminized the unisexuality that oxford shoes normally give.
From all the previews I’ve attend, I’m very sure that animal print especially reptile print is definitely going to be massive in summer.
Differs from the winter style, they are presented in light printed fabrics, which is more in line with summer.
Moving forward onto the “bright colour session”, the primary red, yellow and blue are obviously Stuart Weitzman’s highlights.
Applied on metal cap slip-ins, gradient pumps, bold floral prints, asymmetric toe line ballerina, stripy sandals …
colours sure do livens up the season with a splash of modernity boldness.
And moving onto my most favourite 2013 summer footwear trend : transparent and clear.
The continuation of last summer accessory trend, clear vinyl materials this season was in cutting-edge silhouettes.
In addition, the accented sparkling Swarovski crystals, studded metallic T-bar strap, and satin-lined sole taken in Stuart Weitzman
has bring together its decadent details under its most minimalist approach.
Metallics are no longer worn only for cocktails events and nightwear.
This summer, the footwear trend got more edgy and cool with hot-hued metallics in an unexpected way.
More than just being shiny, they are laser-like reflectable; not only in silver, but also in gold.
