TASTED! SKY BAR SEMI BUFFET

TASTED! SKY BAR SEMI-BUFFET

It’s been a while since I do photo diaries. The second post of 2018, I decided to go more of it. And before I continue with my travel diaries to Australia, here’s one that possibly will make you scream for food.
Calling fans of Mr Steak! The Sky Bar, who’s a part of it, has launched their Semi-buffet Dinner menu — along with a 3-course menu with either half dozen of American Pearl Oyster, Pacific Oyster, Wagyu Beef Sashimi, Brown crab on Ice or Sea Urchin, to start with.

TO BEGIN WITH/

American Pearl Oyster,
Wagyu Beef Sashimi,
Sea Urchin on Green House Cucumber
Although the sound of raw beef sashimi may scare you off, yet it’s a dish I dare you to try. Thin sliced and not even close to being “bloody” (which, could be what you are questioning in mind now), dip it with Japanese sweet soy sauce and a bit of wasabi to go with the tender wagyu texture.

Overall I’ve had a wonderful dining experience in Sky Bar. It was our 9-month anniversary dinner on top of it, and I’m happy to be seated in a private corner, quiet enough for us to chat through the night alongside the night street view from the skyscraper. Well, of course, you can always leave your seat in the middle or beginning of your meal for some salad and dessert. After all, it’s a semi-buffet dinner.
