The festive holy season is approaching, and while people busy planning their Christmas party, fashion boutiques on the other hand, are also re-decorating their window displays and in-store installations to create that magical festive atmosphere for visitors to experience and cheer with. JOYCE this year decided to celebrate Christmas in the artistic way that Viennese does. Inspired by its fashion and art culture, its Central flagship has transformed into the backstage of the famous Vienna Opera House. Glamorous while keeping it mysterious, putting together the latest FW13’s couture-like dresses and accessories such as Lanvin, Giuseppe Zanotti, Balmain, Oscar de la Renta, so on and so forth, with elaborate vintage costumes sourced from famous production house HOUSE OF SIREN, the ‘backstage’ was surrounded by wine glasses and masks, ‘partying’ seems to be the major thing going on when curtains are down.
Besides the sophisticated Austrian festive party scene, tittle themed popup corners are also being installed.
Portraits of Austrian pianist Mozart were being featured on a range of holiday gifts such as candles, diaries, cushions, and wrapping paper. They were designed by famous portrait specialist artist SAUL ZANOLARI, with his unique vision of incorporating traditional painting skills and digital editing, his portraits are a fusion of fashion clips, graphic drawing and pop art.
And down below are a chocolate popup dedicated to famed Vienna chocolatier DEMEL. Chasing its history in creating chocolates and pastries back to 1786, together with the delicious sweet tooth and the down-to-Vienna-art culture packaging design, I believe they are attractive enough to impress your friends and lovers with great Christmas surprise, even better, the price ranges only from HK$40 to HK$450!
Different JOYCE boutiques carries a different themed Christmas installation, all art directed by Austrian artist GUDRUN KAMPL. Be sure to check out the 3 boutiques and indulge yourself with the magical wonderland that these Austrian artists created with their greatest efforts and creativities.
